A spectacular evening sunset thunderstorm was intercepted at Gunning midway between Goulburn and Yass New South early December 2014. The sunset illuminated the thunderstorm and its base which finished a wonderful storm chase.

This is my favourite image during a visit to the Wildlife Park south of Jakarta at a place called Puncak. The Wildlife Park is similar to a zoo featuring wildlife from numerous countries. The owl has some form camouflage to the tree. The park sits at the base of an extinct volcano.

The Ovens Valley of North East Victoria is renowned for its scenery and hilly regions. In winter, Mt Buffalo and nearby peaks of Mt Feathertop and Mt Hotham provides a unique alpine environment with snow capped peaks not found anywhere else on the Australian mainland.
