  I took this photo of Reed Beds Swamp at sunset a few weeks ago and thought it would be a fitting post for World Wetlands Day 2010. World Wetlands Day is celebrated internationally each year on 2 February. It marks the anniversary of the signing of the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance in Ramsar, Iran, on 2 February 1971. Reed Beds Swamp forms part of the Gulpa Creek Wetland Complex and is located within the Barmah-Millewa Forest, NSW.
